War Tax Resistance 101

The Portland Chapter of the War
Resisters League offers workshops for those involved in or considering
some form of war tax resistance. Free materials include where your tax
dollars are spent and how these taxes can be "redirected" to
life-supporting causes. A suggested donation of $1-5 goes to use of the
space
If you work for peace, stop paying for war!

Our events excite, educate, and enliven!

As you know In Other Words is a non-profit bookstore. In fact, we are the only surviving non-profit women's bookstore in the country. In an effort to become more sustainable we are now asking for a minimal donation for community events held at the store. Guests will be asked to donate $5 to store events, unless otherwise noted, however, no one will be turned away.
